Balance Training

Balance is a “use it or lose it” system. The majority of us don’t recognize our loss of balance as we age. Fifty percent of the emergency room visits for those over the age of 45 are due to falls. For those over the age of 65, falls are the number one cause of injury or death. The number one cause of concussions is not sporting injuries, but falls. The best athletes have been shown to have the best balance. So whether you are an athlete looking to improve your performance or a senior worried about your risk of falling, balance training can help you achieve your goals.
